Sydney’s Doggie Daycare is a place for your pooch to have fun in a safe and caring environment. Sydney’s daycare staff ensures that all our daycare guests have a “Howling” good time!
Why Sydney's Doggie Daycare?
At Sydney’s Pet Spa and Doggie Daycare, we understand pets and their need for exercise and socialization. The introduction to other people and pets in Doggie Daycare is an integral source of exercise and social interaction that each pet needs. Doggie Daycare is a great release of energy that provides physiological benefits like weight control, muscle toning, cardio and respiratory health as well as promoting better mental health. Thru socialization, your pet can blossom into a non-aggressive happy, healthy pet.
Boredom and isolation lead to destructive and/or annoying behaviors like digging, licking, chewing, jumping on people and hyperactivity, all of which can easily be corrected in our daycare program. With playtime, exercise and attention to each pet, Sydney’s Daycare acts as a mischievous or destructive behavior deterrent, as well as a useful “retraining” tool.
Requirements for Sydney's Doggie Daycare
Every dog is initially separated according to size and temperament at which time an assessment of aggression is performed. Soon after the assessment, the dogs are introduced into group daycare which is continuously monitored by our Daycare staff ensuring the safety of all the precious pets entrusted in our care.
* To be eligible for group Daycare ALL dogs MUST be spayed or neutered*
All dogs must be current on the three following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- DHLPPC
(distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvo virus) - Bordetella
Please bring proof of all three current vaccinations on your first visit to Doggie Daycare
How does Sydney's Doggie Daycare work?
Sydney’s Doggie Daycare includes full or half days of play, making it convenient for both you and your pooch. Doggie Daycare begins at 8:00am Monday-Sunday. This is non-stop play with multiple dogs, lots of toys to be chewed, and fleece bedding for those who tire easily. Beginning at 11:30am the staff place the pampered pets into their own rooms for nap time.
As far as going “potty” every dog is let out two–three times during the morning and afternoon sessions and before and after naptime in our enclosed, outside area.
The second half of our day begins at 1:30pm when everyone meets back together for the afternoon reintroduction. Our Daycare staff works tirelessly all day providing activities and inspiration to keep everyone busy and having fun.
At Sydney’s Daycare, we like to believe that if your pet could talk they would be begging you to bring them back!
